BTW serves what can be arguably the best tikki in Delhi. How and where to get it. Now thats the mystery. But still there is something magical about their tikki. Deep fried and crunchy with a burst of flavors. But what do the folks at BTW do. Well, they kill the dish but messing up the recipe. Unbelievable, just read on.

Location of BTW Sector 10

BTW at Sector 10 is located right below the towering signboard of Burger King.

It occupies a small shop on the ground floor. You can reach the place easily following Google Maps.

About the restaurant

Market places in Dwarka are conveniently located at prominent junctions. Cleanliness and hygiene is an issue. But people flock to the shops in the markets for the daily needs and beyond. There is a large sprinkling of restaurants in the markets. BTW is located in one these markets. There is adequate parking and free too in all these markets.

The outlet is small and there is no seating. There are just a couple to tables which one can stand and have a quick bite. On one side is a row of counter which sells sweets and other side is the cash counter. Standard layout. But mostly people prefer to pick up their chat items and take them outside. Service is ok because most of the items are quick to prepare.

What is BTW

BTW stands for Bittoo Tikki Wala. What started as a modest beginning is now spread across Delhi by their numerous branches. BTW makes good tikkis. No BTW makes awesome tikkis. At least they have a recipe to make awesome tikkis. We first tried Bittu Tikki acccidently at their outlet at Netaji Subhash Place. The taste of tikki took us over by surprise. It is deep fried in oil, supposedly Olive Oil. The deep frying takes place in a shallow plate. The thickness of tikki and depth of oil is such that you get a specific crunchiness to the tikki. It is then cut in pieces and showered with a healthy dosage of curd and other ingredients. And when you dig in and help your self with a spoonful of this delightness. You now know how a good tikki should taste.

With the assumption that the same awesomeness should have been replicated at all outlets, we entered this one at Sector 10. Now remember, most of the reviewers on Zomato have complained about consistency of their tikkis and an overall drop in standards. This is clearly evident in their Sector 10 outlet. Their tikki did not taste good. Something was missing. Though the curd and other accompaniments were still at par. Possibly the tikkis were stale, or they might not have been made properly.

Other items on the menu are good too. But they can be ignored. The best item to have at this place it the Bittoo Tikki, that is if they can manage to prepare one.
