Fingerlickerz, Sector 11, Dwarka, New Delhi

Mumbai street food items like pav bhaji have become quite popular in Delhi. Restaurants like Bombay Blossom and Bombay Brunch specialize in street food serve items as close as possible to the original. Another notable mention is the Bombay Bhelpuri at South Ex. In this article we can add one more restaurant to the list, Fingerlickerz at Sector 11, Dwarka.

Location of Fingerlickerz

Fingerlickerz is located on the ground floor of the market buildings. Since it is the last shop of the last commercial building, they have the entire commercial space for themselves. The big bright hoarding and lots of lights make sure you wont miss it even during the night time.

About the restaurant

The restaurant is in the premises of sector 11 main market which is on the road at a prominent junction. Approach roads are nice and open. There are times when you will encounter traffic. Thankfully parking is not an issue here. Free and adequate. The restaurant is divided in two, first kitchen which is inside the shop and a cash counter in the front. Rest is outside and there are three counters. One serves chaat items, second faluda and third the Bombay items. Check the menu, pay at the counter to obtain the token and place your order at the concerned counter. Most of the items on the menu are quick service time which arrive in no time.

A couple of tables can be used to stand and enjoy your snacks. The management has kept the place neat and clean. Market places as a rule in Dwarka are dirty. But this one is a welcome exception. The famed Dwarka drain which empties in Najafgarh Drain flows nearby. This floats a nice aroma in the air. Better ignore it, else lose your appetite.

About the menu

Menu consists of Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, South Indian Food, Thali, Kulfi and Chaat items. Star attraction is the Pav Bhaji which many users of Zomato have rated highly. Other Bombay attraction is Vada Pav. There is a slight twist in the preparation of Pav. But the modification tastes good. They give two accompaniments and fried chilly.  Both these food items are very good taste and mostly people order them when they visit this place. Preparation takes not much time. Most of the reviewers have complimented these two items as the original taste of Mumbai street food. The other two items from Mumbai is the pulav and dabeli.

dahi bhalla

South Indian items are prepared in the kitchen inside. Plus there are other meal options like kulcha and naan. There is a separate counter for chaat items. We tried Dahi Bhalla and it was prepared well. We also tried Gol Gappa which also tasted good. Prices for all items are reasonable and portions are good. You can finish your mini meal with kulfi.
