Fish Eye Lens – An entry into another dimension
I bought a fish eye lens to help remove the problem of Zenith and Nadir dark areas in a 360 degree panorama picture. With a fish eye lens the entire area can be covered with five to six pictures as opposed to a normal rectilinear lens which might take up to 60 pictures. Not to mention the large number of stitching errors.
Anyway before purchasing the lens, a quick search revealed photographers getting severely addicted to the fish eye, so much so that it becomes their main lens. Now after a week with lens, I am almost on the verge of being one.
