Jhandewalan Mandir, Karol Bagh

Having witnessed all sorts of pollution in the capital city, a visit to Jhandewalan Mandir in Karol Bagh during the Navratras 2015 shows a completely different face of Delhi.

The entire Rani Jhansi Road starting from the Rani Jhansi Chowk till the Jhandewalan Mandir is nicely lit up with lights and decorations, best seen at night. For the festive season where the number of devotees are at its peak, the best way is enter from the Rani Jhansi Chowk side on the Rani Jhansi Road. That way you can straight way hit the parking place.

Parking is further down the road after the main entrance. The walk from the parking lot to the entrance of the queue is fairly long distance but easily walk-able.

Queue management is very good and there are volunteers all around to help and guide. They go the extra distance to make you comfortable despite the punishing day and night schedule.
