Contradicting the mirror, here I present the most underrated brand, Laxmi Ice Cream.

What is Laxmi Ice Cream

Laxmi Ice Cream is an Ice Cream brand from a Gaziabad based manufacturer. It has two outlets in New Delhi, one is at Delhi University-GTB Nagar and the other is at Jail Road, Tilak Nagar. Ice Cream in various flavors come packed in tubs of various sizes. What is left at the outlets is the preparation of sundaes and Ice Sodas which depends on the skill and mood of the servers, which we can safely ignore.

This place is packed with food joints of all types, and in this highly competitive place you need to stand up to stay in contention. The Laxmi Ice Cream outlet is located very close to Tilak Nagar metro station and it is right on the main road. Plenty of parking space, but careful this stretch of road is very busy.

Zomato names it as Laxmi Ice Cream, while Google marks it as Laxmis Ice Cream on Google Maps and the circle is completed by the Owner naming it as Laxmi’s Ice Cream.

About the Ice Cream

At this point of time, you all must be wondering what is the fuss all about. As per me, Laxmi Ice Cream is arguably the best Ice Cream served in New Delhi. Not only does it taste good, it is prepared locally, has a lot of flavors and is on sale for unbelievable prices. Also watch out for the seasonal flavors. Simply amazing. We had Watermelon and Pineapple and actually went back the next day again to eat more.

Seating is very limited, no tables and just four chairs. Cones are available in two varieties including the waffle cone. I would be a great addition if the waffle cone is prepared fresh. There are a lot of flavors available and they generally sell off fast which means there is always a fresh stock.

Menu is basically spread across the Sundae options and Ice Soda options, and then the cones and cups. Fresh fruit ice cream is only available as a cone which is served in a cup nicely cut topped with black salt!

This article might be sounding like a paid review. But the only way to find out is to go and have a taste yourself. As you google for the brand on the Ice Cream, you will find nothing. So the manufacturer is not really interested to promote the brand online as it already has an offline reputation. Who else serves ice cream topped with Kala Namak.
